Chicago’s minimum wage for non-tipped workers will increase on July 1 from $10.00/hour to $10.50. For tipped workers, it will increase from $5.45 to $5.95.
However, for the rest of Illinois, the hourly wage will remain at $8.25 and $4.95, where it’s been since 2011.
